What happens after you get in touch
We'll come back to you to talk through what you need — usually within 48 hours, where possible. If it's an active roof leak, tell us when you call and we'll do our best to prioritise it, often the same day where we have a crew free. Nothing you tell us commits you to anything, and there's no charge for the conversation.
Next we arrange a visit. We'd rather look at a roof or a garden in person than price it from a photo, because the things that change a job — the state of the timber under the tiles, how a flat roof drains, what's under a patio, how far materials have to be carried — only show up on site. We'll take measurements, photograph anything worth showing you, and explain plainly what we'd recommend and why, including the option of repairing rather than replacing where that's genuinely the sensible answer.
You then get a written, itemised quote setting out the materials, the work included and the price. Every job is priced individually after a free inspection. If you go ahead, we'll agree a schedule with you before starting, and you'll have one point of contact throughout — we're a small family-run team based in Edwinstowe with 28+ years in the trade between us, and the owners are on every job. We're fully insured, and roof replacements carry the manufacturer's material warranty on the products used.
